Jocelyn Mendes MD

Dr. Mendes is a Chapel Hill native. She completed her undergraduate education at Clemson University in the Calhoun Honors College.  She stayed in South Carolina for medical school at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine – Greenville. During medical school she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society and received the Academic Excellence Award, an award given to the top three students per class, each year. Dr. Mendes completed her intern year in Internal Medicine at the Mount Sinai Health System in New York prior to returning home to Chapel Hill for a Dermatology residency at the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill.

Dr. Mendes’ clinical interests include general, cosmetic, and surgical Dermatology. She provides treatments for skin rejuvenation, including neurotoxin and injectable fillers. When she isn’t in clinic you can find Dr. Mendes chasing her kids around a (shaded) park, cheering on Clemson football or UNC basketball, and attempting DIY home improvement projects.
