About JUVÉDERM®

Created by Allergan, the makers of BOTOX®, JUVÉDERM® is one of the most well-known cosmetic dermal fillers on the market. It is smooth gel filler made of hyaluronic acid–a naturally occurring substance in your body that helps to add volume and hydration. In recent years, hyaluronic acid has become a favored solution for replenishing the areas of the face where the skin’s volume and fullness have been lost due to age, sagginess, or other reasons.

Types of JUVÉDERM®

JUVÉDERM® refers to a family of products that have each been designed for different uses.

JUVÉDERM Ultra® is the original Juvederm formula and is ideal for treating moderate lines and wrinkles. It provides limited contouring and scar correction, as well as moderate lip enhancement. Results typically can last up to 9 months.

  • JUVÉDERM Voluma® is the first and only hyaluronic acid based dermal filler approved by the FDA to instantly increase the volume of the cheeks. Results can last up to 2 years with fill correction.
  • JUVÉDERM Volbella® is a hyaluronic acid gel-based filler that uses patented Vycross technology to smooth lip lines and other fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth. Results can last up to 12 months after treatment.
  • JUVÉDERM Vollure® is Juvederm’s newest filler designed to correct the most severe folds and wrinkles including nasolabial folds, commonly known as smile or laugh lines. Results of Vollure can last up to 18 months.
